Reliability & Security
- Crisis Commander is available 24 x 7 x 52 and surrounded by a high level of security in order to guarantee maximum reliability and uptime:
- All Crisis Commander servers have double redundant processors, power supplies and CPUs
- All Crisis Commander servers are virtual machines, enabling the automatic switch to stand-by servers both locally and remotely (mirrored systems)
- Multiple cross-connected SANs (including RAID technology) are used for all servers
- Crisis Commander servers are connected to UPS power and battery backup in N+1 configurations. This configuration also applies to datacenter cooling.
- Diesel generator(s) are used to deliver the necessary power load in the case of external power loss
- Backups and replicas are executed at various intervals every day
Crisis Commander hosting centers are equipped with:
- Fire protection needed for data media
- Automatic fire detection and extinguishing system
- Burglar alarm connected to a third-party security company
- Access card system to computer center
- 24x7x52 monitoring by technical staff
- Precision cooling systems to guarantee proper temperature, humidity and air filtration
Communications Safety
- At Crisis Commander we take a number of security measures to protect communication via the Internet, including:
- Use of SSL encryption for all communication, as well as a security certificate issued by VeriSign for Crisis Commander. The number of bits in the encryption algorithm varies between 40 and 128 depending on the type of web browser being used. Our encryption method is the same as that used by many banks.
- A minimum of two high-speed Internet connections
- Firewalls tested regularly by intrusion detection specialists
System Safety
- The Crisis Commander staff is highly respected within the security industry and works by a strict code of ethics for all system delivery purposes
- All passwords are stored encrypted on the Crisis Commander server
- Antivirus software is in place to protect your data
- Penetration tests are performed regularly
