FAQs
What makes Crisis Commander different?
Crisis Commander is the simplest, easiest to use business continuity and incident management tool on the market today. We firmly believe that if you make a tool that isn’t easy to use, it will not be used. That philosophy guides the development of each new Crisis Commander release.
How secure is Crisis Commander?
Crisis Commander has many security-sensitive clients that demand the highest levels of data protection. Crisis Commander uses HTTPS protocol for browser interaction with our service, and all maintenance is done using VPN. Security audits and white hat penetration tests are conducted regularly, the results and recommendations of which are incorporated into our security processes and procedures.
How can I get my data into Crisis Commander?
Plans, support documents and contact lists may be uploaded into Crisis Commander quickly and easily via our secure, easy-to-use interface. Our team can also upload your data for you on a turnkey basis, if you prefer.
How many users can I have for Crisis Commander?
The number of both users and message recipients is unlimited. Users are defined as people with access to the Crisis Commander application itself. Message recipients are employees, vendors, customers or anyone else you need to notify in the event of an emergency.
What about training?
Since Crisis Commander is so easy to use, it requires very little training. To ensure that you’re completely confident using our product, we offer both web-based and on-site training customized to suit your organization’s needs. We also offer “train the trainer” programs, as well as custom training programs for large companies that we’re happy to conduct at your site(s) worldwide.
Can Crisis Commander scale for my organization?
Absolutely! The list of Crisis Commander clients includes many large, multi-national companies. Crisis Commander scales to meet the specific needs you your organization by using a simple parent/child structure: your corporate headquarters will typically have the parent system. An unlimited number of divisions or locations then have child systems.
